All qualified interior designers say they have passed the NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Certification) examination and / or registered and certified / licensed in your state.

Flat Design Fee: The client pays a fixed sum for the services of professional interior designer based on the design plan, the time required and the scope of services.
Price per hour: decorator bills a negotiated rate per hour.
Cost plus method: the professional interior designers charge a fixed percentage of all goods and services purchased from merchants made.
Mixed Method: The customer pays a certain percentage both purchases and design costs of the basic hourly rate.
By sq. ft.: This method is used in new construction.
